Our mission
You Have a Purpose Foundation is a 501c3 nonprofit that helps transitions children, teenagers, women and men rescued from human trafficking and domestic violence by educating, empowering and supplying the resources needed to help them succeed in the next phases of their lives.
Human Trafficking is a global problem that is not much talked about. It is a type of modern day slavery which consists of illegal exploitation of human beings for personal or commercial gain. Traffickers target vulnerable men, women and children. Oftentimes victims are manipulated and threaten to do things against their will. Many of them have had an abusive or emotionally distressed upbringing, and unfortunately many people with disabilities also fall prey to traffickers.
Our goal is to educate, provide resources and bring awareness to our community. We do this by partnering with other non profit organizations who are also helping in the fight against human trafficking and domestic abuse, raising funds to provide support for mental health services to assist with rehabilitation, housing assistance, financial assistance, career development and education for families and victims to raise awareness.
